It didn't work. The manufacturer's containing the alternator was damaged. I ordered a replacement but the new one didn't even fit. The new one looked identical to the first one, which fitted but didn't work. The box of the second one also had damaged.

Dead right out of the box. Beware this isn’t worth the money.

I was a little skeptical if you know how BMWs fit Parts especially aftermarket but after I made the alteration to get the other one out and put the new one in it fit fine everything works great I had a battery die and it never affected the alternator it still works great
