A good working alternator should charge at 14.2 volts this one does not charge above 13volts. Will not keep up if all electronics and lights etc on vehicle are turned on. Keeps battery charged but the charge warning comes on on vehicle if I have everything turned on at the same time.

Received on time (next day) and fits as described. Took no more than 15 mins to install and in good working order. So far so great. Great price point, saved me $160 given that the local parts stores were charging over $300. Warranty is not spelled out, clearly in conspicuous spot so that U can read it before U buy this article. I understand it the warranty is not available in Canada.

The electrical connections were in a different position then original but there was still enough room to mount alt. without connections rubbing or binding on anything. once installed everything worked great.

Exact match for the OEM alternator that it replaced at a much more reasonable cost. Only had it in for a day but it seems to be good quality. I am happy with it.

My 2010 F150 4.6L had a factory alternator that stopped working. I searched for a replacement at local box office stores without success (most were remanufactured, more expensive than this item, and without stock). I believe this alternator is intended for the 5.4L engine as the plug-in connections come off the top of the alternator as opposed to out the back making the clearance a little tight when fitting in. Either way, was not difficult to install and is working well after a couple weeks of use. The bearing wheel is not metal which is fine considering the price, the fact it is manufactured abroad, it is labelled as new, and is readily available. Would recommend.
