Factory brake hose wouldn’t mount to the caliper. $64 wasted.

Everything was going well with the install until I tried to reconnect the brake line. The brake line will not go on properly with stock brake line.

Based on the previous reviews, I didn't initially buy this. I went to the part store and bought their cheapest option. It was $180 plus the core return. This one is half that price and no core return. However the store only had the one side in stock. So I ordered this one begrudgingly.Install was straight forward. Getting the e-brake cable off the old one was the worst part. *tip - just grab it and pull it off while it's still mounted to the car.The new one comes in a box marked CHINA all over it. The parts store ones are rebuilt here in North America somewhere. So I was worried. However comparing the two, they were similar. Both came with brackets and the caliper. Also comes with the slider inserts (whatever they are called). This one also came with new copper washers for the banjo bolt.Hooked it all up and pressurized. No leaks so far. Definitely needed the new washers though, as it leaked with the old ones. Stopping appears fine. I'll keep an eye on it and update if there are any issues. For now I kinda wish I had purchased both sides from this vendor.Note: One of the other reviews talks about the brake line not fitting. I will admit, it doesn't look like it fits. The caliper is round and the brake line is squared. However this is what the stock one looks like. It does fit, but it just looks weird. I think its due to Ford just pulling parts from the bin and making them work.

I spent an hour removing the old caliper and installing this one. When it came time to bleed the brakes, fluid started pouring out from around the piston. Spent another half our removing it and fitting the old one back on. Giant waste of time, better off spending more money for a caliper that won't cost you time or potentially cause an accident.
