How to Determine the Right Replacement Cartridge for Your Pool or Spa?

Selecting the appropriate cartridge can be achieved by assessing your current one. Follow these steps:
1. Gauge the cartridge's external diameter, ensuring accuracy to within +/- 1/16 inch.
2. Measure the cartridge's length from one end cap to the other, excluding any protruding handles or extensions, to within +/- 1/16 inch.
3. Determine the top and bottom type. If they're open, measure the inner diameter of the opening to within +/- 1/16 inch. For closed end caps, jot down distinct features (e.g., "Handle", "Cone").
4. Note down the filter's manufacturer and model number where the new cartridge will be placed.
5. Check if there's a central core (like a PP pipe) present.

These pool filters are really good quality and are nearly identical to the originals and fit perfectly in the pump. Sometimes when you order filters online, the white filter part can be very papery, but these ones are thick and more durable, so I'm really happy with them. These are an affordable, good fitting choice for pool filters and they have been working perfectly. We'll order these again for sure, as we can never seem to find them in stock in stores and are happy to find that these ones are good.

Nice set of filters that work very well. They are easy to use and clean up very well. They last and don’t fall apart. Fit as they should and the holes are just the right size for my pool. Good value

Fits the pump as it should for my pool. The material of the filter seems pretty durable. I’ve had some thin ones but this one has a good thick feel to it. Very strong not okay. Installs as it should, very easy to install. Helps keep the pool clean. After a couple days, it shows that it has filtered out small dirt and debris. Good deal for the set, will last me the remainder of summer and into next !

These are generic to fit a variety of pumps. I've found this summer that I'm having to really work to get them to stay down in mine. Once I work with it enough it doesn't float out of place. Great for the price!

These are excellent cheap filters. They fulfill the need. They are a little flimsy on the construction side and I don't see them lasting for very many washes, but for the price you can overlook that. It's cheap, economical, and works. What else can you ask for. If you're looking for one filter that's going to last you for years this isn't going to, but it'll get you through a summer most likely.

These fit perfectly in my summer waves pool with skimmer basket filter system. Quality is comparable to others on the market. You can find a slightly better price if you have time to wait for a sale, but this is pretty solid.
