They are in Ariens packaging and the bolt heads have the scripted “A” (Ariens) emblem. They are not black coated.

Not much to add, Much safer to spend a few more $$ and avoid costly repairs down the road. In my experience, OEM belts and shear pins/bolts are components that are worth the extra cost, whether dealing with Ariens or other North-American brands.
