Your cart is empty.ARP's new ring compressors are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet tube material and feature a true radius for each different bore diameter. What's more, they are relieved for wire O-rings on bottom. Type 3 anodizing is used for long life, and the bore size is prominently engraved in 3/4 high numbers for easy identification. Standard stocking sizes from 3.552 to 4.750 (SAE) and 75mm to 95.5mm (metric). This tool was used on a 5.9 Cummins with 0.020" oversize bore or "20" over. Excellent tool! This tool works extremely well. In my opinion, much much better then the spring steel wrap around piston style. Makes the installation of pistons very easy. We also have many CNC machines in the building a see this as a very inexpensive tool for the price considering this tool is machined from 1 piece of maferial. Great job ARP. By the way, we have plenty of your fasteners going in this engine too.

Did the job on a chevy 350 bored .040 over. Easy to use, just give it a small tap.

I've always used the sleeve type of ring compressor and have had good luck until the sleeve got a little old or I didn't have it solidly even all the way around.This tapered ring compressor solved all my worries. It was the easiest and best compressor I've ever used!Used a little oil inside the compressor and the rings and piston went into the cylinder block easily and safely every time.This thing doesn't look like it will ever wear out so I probably won't ever have to buy another one.Definitely worth the money.
