Worked great for 4 months and then, right after the warranty expired, it burned out.

Perfect fit, it actually went in easier than the original being taken out. After disconnecting the heater to see if my breaker would stay on, then plugging back in to have the breaker trip immediately. Looked up the heater, received it the next day so Saturday morning replaced and the hot tube is back to be used. I did have to bend the heater a small amount to make it not to touch the heater housing, but the was minor.

This thing saved us sooo much money. Fortunately my husband is a certified electrical, found a super cheaper way to fix our heater problem without spending more than $400 on the whole unit

It did not fit my hot tub- would have had to bend it.

Element was very poorly made, wrong bend, item will touch the metal sides when installed, no good for 220 Volt item as will short out and cause a fire ! I bought another one elsewhere and was of a higher quality , better fit and cost more but well worth it !

Despite the name, I found this heater element to be congenial and willing to do its job. Maybe over time it will start hurling insults at me and think it deserves better than my hot tub, and worthy of its title.

I replaced the heating element in my Balboa Spa with this one. The job was rather easy, but I did have to drain the SPA. The heater works great with no complaints. I think it's a good price too, local SPA techs were quoting me ridiculous amounts of money, turn out the problem could be solved for just $35

The element had to be bent in order to fit which didn’t seem to be a problem. The stems are fragile and got bent in the process. I used silicone on the o-rings because I had corrosion on my existing tube. Everything thing works fine and saved a lot of money by just replacing the element.
