It's a mediocre charge controller that has the most impractical terminal hookups.

I've methodically gone through all the suggested steps (that I can find searching online) to get this controller working properly but have not been able to. When I bypass it and put my panels directly into my Bluetti EB3A instead of any of my batteries, I get the normal amount of wattage one would expect from the panels.Zero customer service from Atem.

mppt! yup awesome so far...quick outdoor and extensive indoor tested with all connected before an off-grid excursion, but so far so good. Had to grind down some o-ring cables to make them fit, but otherwise okay. If using heavier gauge wires to reduce voltage/power loses(like me) beware that you will need to figure out how to fit your terminals connections to this controller as screw and width sizes become a major issue.

Installed to regulate solar blanket for camping. Seems to work well and very happy.

My only complaint is that it doesn't have an indicator that it is working like the display screen on some cheaper brands. Other than that, seems pretty straightforward and seems to work fine.

Bought this one for 70 bucks instead of a 30 dollar one because it did not have a full led display. Thinking it wouldn't use power when it's night. It uses power. Not a smart controller. Once sun completely sets, this stays lit up with battery type and amount. Unfortunately. Thus using power when none is being made.Screw terminals are very small. Yellow jackets fit the wires, yet the screw terminals only big enough for blue, so bare wire was only other option. Not happy I paid 50 dollars more than the other ones just to end up with a power hungry, tiny terminal Christmas Tree

Works as described. Keeps my solar panels charging my LiFePO4 batteries for my Yaesu FT-818 at an appropriate voltage and current while operating the transceiver portable. While I haven't tested the USB power ports yet, I am very pleased with this purchase after using it for about half a month.

This unit does everything it was advertised to do. Both of them are working perfectly.
