Excellent snowthrower runners. Much better alternative to the metal runners that come with the machine..prevents ugly rust marks in the garage..and does not scratch my interlock driveway:)

Did not fit as per expected on by Briggs and Stratton. But after chesilling out a bit of plastic, I got them to work. Nice and big so the snowblower glides better over the snow.

I was a little bit concerned about the universal fit claim. I should not have worried because the mounting slots were many and I had no problems. These slides are much longer than the original ones which makes for a much smoother ride along the driveway. I would say they are good value for the price and would recommend.

The thing that attracted me to this product is the low low price, durability, and reversibility of these poly slides. Unfortunately they won't fit the 2 3/8" spread of bolt centres required by Honda snowblowers. I took mine and used a jigsaw to cut a strip (1/2 cm worth) away from one of the slots. After doing so, the bolt holes matched perfectly. Then I purchased new M8 1.25 bolts 3 cm long and large washers to attach the slides. To ensure strength, I attached a piece of flat steel between the bolt heads and the poly slide. I'm extremely confident this set up is the most economical and durable for my HS925!

Some previous comments about difficulty in installing these made me a bit wary about buying them. The comments spoke about the holes not lining up and having to drill new holes. The shoe comes with several holes to line up with your two holes. The one hole is totally adjustable so there is no reason why anyone would have something that would not fit. And it comes with two sets of nuts, bolts, and washers. One set if for Ariens snow blowers and the other set is for everything else. I am not mechanical at all and I had both shoes installed and adjusted in 10 minutes. It would not take longer than 5 minutes for someone who knew what they were doing. It snowed the next day after I installed them and they worked like a charm, easily sliding over my concrete driveway, and I have noticed that I am not getting the rust stain on my garage floor from the snow blower like I did before the shoes. I highly recommend this product.
