I have New Zealand rabbits and I tried showing them how to drink by pressing the nipple with my finger. But they seem to only lick the nipple and not understand that they have to apply pressure. Either the nipple requires too much pressure or the nipple itself is too small for a rabbit. I am going to have to buy something else. What a waste of money!

I liked these so well. I bought more. Not because they didn't last but because I wanted to use more of them! Training the rabbits to get used to the different style was the only curve I had in this project, and had to keep the old style ball waterers avaliable until they were using the new ones.

Not too sturdy - I have one fail once or twice a month, so wouldn't use them indoors. They're fine for an outdoor setup where you don't mind a puddle occasionally.

The actual watering nipple and valve body are very high quality. I got the ones with the blue ends. They can be pulled apart for cleaning and to replace seals. They were easy to install and are stable, even with one spring attached. They fit the 5/16" ID tubing I use for my other watering system. The rabbits took to the immediately, even the ones transitioning from a standard rabbit water bottle. Good water flow.I must add, the T's are definitely single use. They will bend and break when you try to remove them from the tubing. They will be fine with a low pressure system as long as there is no tugging on the lines. I consider them a bonus part anyways, but T's are super cheap to buy on their own if you need extras.

I'm not sure how "thickness" or "sheerness" really apply to this product, but hey, whatever! The nipples shipped out quickly, and were a breeze to install! The rabbits took to them right away, and seem pretty happy. Moreover, I'm happy not to be filling water bottles so often! Was able to pick up the vinyl tubing inexpensively at the local hardware box store. Installed as a gravity system in conjunction with a recycled 45 gallon water tank - flawless performance so far!
