Worked perfect to replace a sticking caliper on 2015 Altima. Got both sides for just a little more than one at a auto parts store and didn't have to deal with a core.

The new calipers were priced below the cost of rebuilts with no core return required. In some cases I have found the quality of rebuilt units to be questionable. These calipers appeared well made and had the right amount of clearance in the frame where the pads mount. Many rebuilt items have much too tight a fit in this area and experienced technicians will file the pad tabs to correct this problem. If the clearance is not adequate the pads will not retract enough causing over heating and short brake pad life.rbm

One of the calipers had a large scratch right on the surface where the caliper connects to the banjo bolt. This is the area where one of the two crush washers goes so it obviously needs to sit completely flush so it doesn't leak. Well the scratch on the caliper went passed the crush washer hence brake fluid was able to leak through and was dripping out of the connection. I had to sand the caliper down quite a bit to get rid of the scratch, put it back together and the leak stopped. The other caliper was fine, but you shouldn't have to adjust a brand new part like this to get it to work like it should.

Product came packaged well and on time with all parts and hardware as described. Once I began repairs with the help of an experienced friend we soon realized the callipers weren’t part of the problem so didn’t need to be replaced. Bought from autoshack as they had great reviews and very competitive pricing. Will definitely be purchasing any needed parts from them in the future. Thanks Autoshack.

Great quality, only problem is these aren't oem. The fitting for the banjo bolt is 180 degrees off. So the caliper isn't identical to the stock one. See pictures to see what im talking about. Spent days trying to figure out why the brakes weren't working properly, bought a new master cylinder as well because when you match up the banjo hole to the hose, the brake bleeder screw ends up being on the bottom of the caliper, rather than the top. This doesn't allow air to properly escape while bleeding. So after bleeding my vehicle for hours on end and the pedal still not getting firm, I took a closer look at the calipers and realized they were the problem the whole time. Some might say remove the rubber hose and reinstall it 180 so it fits better, but with the age of the vehicle, those lines are rusted and rounded out. These calipers should have been made exactly the same specs as the stock ones, then there would be no issues with them and I would give them 5 star review. Its a pretty major setback to have the wrong holes drilled into the caliper, which results in a twisted rubber brake line in the back for me now till I can figure out how to replace my hoses.EDITED: After reaching out to customer service and making them aware of the problem, they informed me they had a batch that was manufactured wrong. They have since sent me the right calipers with the bleeder valves installed in the right locations. Major headache for me to go through, but they have somewhat made things right.
