This was a replacement adapter for a guitar pedalboard power supply. It worked ok but one blade broke loose and was left in the power strip, after only 3 or 4 uses.

It's perfect. No unwanted noise, works great with my Caline power supply.

I have a bass guitar preamp/D.I. that can function with any power supply from 9-18V, but has the most headroom (lack of distortion on loudest inputs) with 18V. I had been running it with a 15V supply I borrowed from another pedal, but that's not ideal since I could only use one or the other at a time and the preamp would function best at 18V. This power supply solved my problem perfectly. I plugged in my headphones and cranked gain, volume and treble controls with no input to check for noise, and there was no difference between the two supplies--both were fine. My preamp has a 5.5 x 2.1 mm socket and the barrel on this power supply is a good snug fit. I use it to power my preamp at church where I play bass and it it works without issues. I'm delighted.

Does the job for delivering power to those pesky +18V guitar and bass pedals. It's quiet and provides clean, ripple-free power to your pedals. The sideways AC plug orientation helps out saving space on power strips. The DC end (the part that goes in your pedal) is a straight plug (not right angle).

I recently had a 9V pedal power supply that just stopped working. I picked this 18V power supply and tried it out on several pedals. All worked well with no noticeable noise or hum. The cable includes a ferrite bead for noise reduction.I measured the cable diameter at 3.5 mm, vs. 3.75 on some of my other adaptors. The cable length is roughly the same and very useable. If you need an additional power supply and want the flexibility to power both 9V and 18V pedals this is a good budget solution.
