I got this for my grandson to play with when he visits. Of course I love the part where all the little stuffies store inside the house/mushroom, but he loves it because he likes the stuffies. He spends a lot of time chatting with the little fox (he's 7 mos.), but he does like the noises they all produce too. Keeps him entertained for a bit, long enough for me to dart around the room and move all the non-baby friendly stuff in his reach, which he also finds funny, but he spends an awful lot of time with the fox, I've been thinking of getting a second set for him to have at home too.

This is so adorable. The mushroom house features a print (not embroidery). The toys have different properties (such as rattling, crinkling, or squeaking), for added play variety.There are some little things I think could be better. For example, there were so many tags to remove! I know they had to be on the items, but I wish they had been the kind that easily tear off, because I was concerned I would cut into the toys when removing them. Also, some of the features are glued back to back (such as the ears and acorn stem) rather than being sewn. In my experience with another toy brand that uses this method, that connection can fail over time and the layers can delaminate, so I wish these had been sewn together. Also, the acorn's fabric isn't as nice as the fox's and squirrel's, which have very plush fabric. As someone who sews, I am concerned the lower acorn fabric may snag over time.The above paragraph is being picky over things I would like to be a bit better, but the set overall is just too cute and sweet.

Not all of the animals stand up on their own but generally speaking they are overall well made...The acorn and the snail do not stand upright on their own. But aside from that they are all very well made and are cute and adorable and soft and well stitched, etc. They all fit inside the mushroom house for easy storage. I would imagine that most small children would love to have this to play with as would any serious stuffed animal collector. This would make a really nice gift. If all of the creatures stood up on their own this would easily be a five star product my only thing that I don't like is that two of them can only lean or fall and second that I ended up cutting off all of the tags off of each of the individual items as the tags were pretty big and very obvious on each of the 4 small creatures. Once I cut off each of the tags they all look very good in my opinion as the tags are too big not to be be cut off because if you don't cut off the tags they are very noticeable. This is a beautiful, very well made and imaginative play set for babies called My Woodland Friends, designed to help a baby develop motor skills. All the pieces are very, very soft, and include a 7.5” teal mushroom house which stores 4 soft sensory toys: plush squirrel and fox squeakers, a crinkling snail, and an acorn rattle.It's hard to describe how cute and sweet this woodland play set is. Each piece is a beautiful replica of the real animal, and of course all parts of this soft toy are safe for a baby and are non-toxic. Each piece is so well made, I couldn't decide on my favorite but finally settled on the snail.This toy set is made by Baby GUND, long the king of teddy bear makers, and, except for toys with squeakers, each plush piece of this set is machine-washable for easy cleaning.Excellent product by Baby GUND, or, rather, another excellent product by Baby Gund, a five piece GUND Baby Play Soft My Woodland Friends play set of soft sensory toys: plush squirrel and fox squeakers, a crinkling snail, and an acorn rattle, along with the Woodland Friends' house. The animals are stored inside the house so they're easy to keep together. This is a very well made, cute, soft plush play set, and I highly recommend it for babies everywhere. This would make a wonderful baby shower gift.
