The inner cockpit and ion propulsion engine have been fine tuned and the added Death Star motif display base increases quality of display. A nipper or sprue cutter (sold separately) is required for assembly, but does not require glue. Set includes dedicated display base x1, laser effect part x1, 1/72 pilot x2, canopy x2 (clear part x1/frame part x1), landing gears x1 set, water-transfer decal x1, and marking sticker x1. Runner x9. Instruction manual x1. Look for origin of shipment: only items shipped from within North America are being sold by authorized U.S. Retailers. The model is exceptionally accurate and highly detailed, BUT two problems.First, the orange flash on either side of the cockpit is moulded separately instead of being a decal which results in a seam between the parts and is an eyesore. If you want to paint the model and use a decal or paint to represent it you will have the unenviable task of trying to fill in that seam without destroying the panelling detail.Second, there are some fine piping details that are extremely hard to put in place and break easily. I broke three of them and I'm a seasoned model builder. I will end up replacing those pipes with thin wire. Just be aware of that problem and the obvious solution.

What a phenomenal kit. The detail is mind blowing as expected from Bandai at this point. Extremely impressed!The pipes and hoses are very finicky to assemble, make sure you have something to hold the model so you have two free hands for assembly. I recommend a little glue on this kit as well. It's not needed, but it will be better off with it.

Another 5 stars for a bandai model. I can't get enough of these. Quality is always outstanding. The only thing I can say about this particular model is to be careful as there are a LOT of small and delicate parts, more then other models that I have which can make it a challenge to assemble. To me that's pretty minor and not worth loosing a star for.A great addition to any collection.

Soy un aficionado a las maquetas de todo tipo desde pequeño estas son de las mejores maquetas que he visto. El despiece es impresionante y la calidad de los encajes y los plásticos es insuperable.

Incredible detail and panel lines , logical construction process with the modeller in mind. The fact it can be assembled without glue or the need to paint and has stickers for marking options will hopefully get younger modellers involved in the hobby . Product arrived ahead of schedule and in excellent condition .

This kit is just super. You need to actually physically feel it to appreciate how fine and detailed it is. It's so nice i don't feel like cuttting them from the sprues to build it. Hats off Bandai !!!
