I use this in my Plantronics 720 headset and they last about a year. After about 10 months or so I notice I don't get the same all day function as when new. Then after about 10 months they start to last about 5 to 6 hours. That is when I buy a new one. Could it be better, sure, but it's not bad price for once a year.
