Aside from the polarity of the clips being backward these work great once i convert to a 24v system i will get the 3 prong y cables.

I use these with two 100W panels in parallel to supply a 10A PWM charge controller. This supplies the necessary amperage to get full use out of the controller. Quality seems good and it does what it's supposed to.

These branch connections are 9 1/2 inches long and came in handy to make up that last little bit to get my panels connected. The only knock I would give them is the wire is not silicone. The conductor appears to be tinned copper.Well worth the cheap price I would buy these again.

This product has "two" cables, 1 is female end and Y to 2 male ends; the other is male end and Y to 2 female ends. Watch out whether that fits your application.My application is, I have a solar panel with output in MC4 connectors, and the output is more than the power station can take in. So I use this "pair" of product and connect to my solar panel, now it has "two" sets of MC4 connectors, (2 males and 2 females), which I can hook and charge TWO power stations.There is actually another application, like if you have 2 weaker solar panels, you can also use this product to "combine" both solar panels output and "Y" into single pair of MC4 connectors, then you will have a stronger solar output to charge power station or power/charge mobile devices directly.This product has flexible cable, so the use case is more tending to mobile use like the 2 applications I described above, if it is going to be used as a permanent solution, of course it is still capable, but you will need extra accessories like clamps to mount them probably. I will recommend the non-flexible one if it is going to be a permanent install/solution.Overall the build and finish is sturdy, good and solid connection without problem. Price is very competitive as well. ($7.60 as of writing)

These MC4 Y adapters were just what I was looking for to help me integrate a few extra solar panels into my system. They arrived in good shape, and so far they have been working fine. Because another reviewer had a problem with one breaking prematurely I went ahead and gave mine a stress test while they were still returnable, and fortunately nothing broke, cracked, or even seem brittle at all either.
