I have two of these cups now and my original one has a + straw slit and the new one is just a single line. The new version is MUCH harder to drink from. My son loves his other one, which is why I bought another but they are not the same. There is no information anywhere about this change or options to select the original + slit in the straw. Really hope they address this soon.

I don’t know if I got a defective cup, the straw does not allow liquid to come up to drink. I noticed my one year old wasn’t drinking from this and I tried myself and nothing comes out. Maybe the seller can replace for me.

This water bottle is great for babies who are learning how to use a straw! My daughter (9 months) wwjd around with this all day. She also throws it and no damage.

I see a lot of reviews of people saying the straw didn’t work, I never experienced that though! The straw has a slit in it that you have to kinda suck/chew on it to get the water out but my breastfed baby figured it out first try!The handles on the side also make it very easy for them to hold on their own, & it’s easy to get the straw in his mouth, rather than a sippy cup that he would need to tip backwards. I would wait until the recommended age of 8 months, but we take it everywhere with us & use it at every meal!

We have tried a few different sippy cups with straws and this one is our favorite. As long as the straw is in correctly, there is zero leakage. Our girl is even a cup thrower/tipper overer/turn cup upside downer and it never spills!! She figured out how to drink from it almost immediately at 7 months. Wish there were other colors, I would buy them all!

This cup was great initially but within 4 weeks of use it started leaking like crazy!! Seems like the straw didn't hold up. I can't seem to find where I could buy replacement straws....

After trying to find a leak proof cup that our 12mo could use, this is by far the best. We have shaken it, tipped upside down, and no leaks.The spout gives a good amount of water and doesn’t pressurize.It is a little slippery without the handle attachment so I would recommend keeping it on for younger children.We will be rebuying if needed
