I purchased this set for my great-grandson, who has shown an interest in archery. He is 5 years old. This set should be perfect for him. It only comes with two arrows so I recommend buying some more. I highly recommend buying the bow and arrow set.

Le compré a mi hijo este arco pero duró unos 3 días la emoción ya que las flechas se quebraron de la parte de las plumas de plástico cada que se caían y tuve que comprar otras desde diciembre y es fecha que no puede usarlo porque no han llegado. A pesar de eso el arco si es resistente.

The product is well made and beautiful. But...product description says good for small kids seven years old and it is not the case. The box arrived with a huge warning that says it is not a toy a d should be used by teens minimum age 16. My husband was very angry with me saying I had chosen poorly and gotten something dangerous for our kid. Either the box is wrong or their product description and pictures which suggest smaller children. Either way it caused a problem in my home and made my son miserable because now my husband does not want to let him use it and he had looooved it. Very upseting for me. If this age contradiction between the amazon product decription and the box was not there....then they would have had a great rating. But this is a serious issue, age is key! Come on people get all your ducks in a row!

Great for a 3 year old ...with lots of supervision and help. The arrows that come with it are a bit heavy and long for the bow, but I made shorter wood arrows and they punch about half way through cardboard and make a satisfying sound. Nocking the arrow is a bit tough at that age, but once set up he can usually hit the box about 6 feet away. The quiver is also junk, but the arm guard is good. There is no need for a glove because of the rollers on the string that act as nocking point and finger guard in one.
