Paint quality was not great. The other ones I've seen are bent the other way - I had to add spacers to get even the hollow 6x9 speakers to fit.

These are sturdy and fit near perfectly. The only thing I would change is for the bottom tab to point outward to make it easier to put a screw in for mounting. I put some door seal foam around the edges also to keep down any potential rattles. You do have to drill holes for the speaker mounting bolts, but honestly thats no big deal. It still sounds like a factory 1980 truck radio, but at least I can hear it instead of relying on the center dash speaker.

These were used in my daughters 05 Colorado. As the single cab first gen Colorado's and Canyons do not have rear speakers my options were limited. I decided to try these and not wedge boxes. I'm glad that I did. With a little work I had a clean installation and a very happy daughter while still maintaining space behind the seats.
