This is actually a very well made product. It's just heavy enough to hold its shape when hung. You do have to measure the height and hang it 5cm off the bottom as it starts off with 5cm, but that's an easy task. It's also VERY TALL! We've added both parents onto it, and unless your little one is going to be well over 6ft, this will record their height just well :-) It's unisex, looks great in the playroom, and is of good quality. Unlike other paper or cardboard versions I've used previously, this one is made of fabric so it doesn't rip, is easy to write on, and doesn't matter how much bubba tries to fold it there are no creases on it. Worth it!!

I really love it. I just didn’t realize how tall/long it is. That is my own fault for not looking. It is like 6 feet long. Seems a little much for a kids height chart. It is really pretty though and I will still be giving it as a gift for my two nieces.
