I bought this mount comforted by the high multi-star reviews that it would work for my needs. I was using it to mount a Diamond SG7900A dual band antenna. There are two pivot points on the mount, one for leveling the antenna and another for swiveling. I hand tightened the mount on my first try and the mount promptly flopped my antenna over at around 30mph speed. I had to stop in traffic and remove the antenna, then drive back home. Attempt #2 was with the bolts tightened to max via an impact driver. This time, the leveling bolt held with no issue, but the swivel bolt became free and the antenna swung down into a horizontal orientation while traveling around 70mph on the highway.If you need a mount for a boat or bicycle maybe? This could work for you. But if you need a mount for a legitimate vehicle and don't want to lose your expensive antenna, by something else.The best one liner I can come up with for this product is: "Cheap, Chinese made, excrement."

I purchased for my 2019 Yukon but the new vehicles have such close tolerances it did not fit to my satisfaction without affecting the hood paint. With that said, the mount is high quality and I recommend this particular unit if you have at least a 1/8" lip gap on your hood or trunk.

Worked like I wanted it to work. I could not have asked for anything better. It mounted firmly to my car in a matter of minutes. The cable routed to my radio, attached my Diamond antenna and I did a transmission with a watt meter and the ratio and wattage was perfect.

Does not include everything you need. Few buck more and you get everything. Not very clear that this one does not have everything with it.

Arrived on time. was properly packed. Came with all parts and allen wrenches. Was installed in less than 15 monutes with no issues. Is holding a 5 foot dual band 2m/70cm antenna with no apparent isues. I cannot speak to long therm life but is built like the one i just took off after 11 years - one that uas bought used. Would buy another for hte other side of the car if needed.
