The platform was a little small but the suet ball was poorly designed. It was not only a bit small for the suet sold but the worst part was that it was to be held into place by zip ties.

I wanted a white perch for my Bird Buddy. That's what I got. However, instead of screws for attaching, there were zip ties. No way can you attach with zip ties. I was very disappointed. Have reordered from official Bird Buddy site.

The perch is fine but the suet ball is tiny and is made of the cheapest plastic you will find. It is cheaper than buying original Bird Buddy parts . Their plastic suet ball alone is 20 bucks ! I will keep it just for the perch. They are about all the same and this one was cheap.

I have a bird buddy bird feeder, which I love, but some of the larger birds have no where to perch. Or sometimes there are several smaller birds fighting for space. This extended perch was very easy to install, and allows more room for birds to fit at my feeder.It's very sturdy and easy to install, though you will need to use a short screwdriver. I didn't use the suet ball yet, I tend to only use seeds and nuts rather than suet.I love the bird buddy feeder, and this extender is very good.

The kit came with the perch, suet ball, two bird buddy compatible screws, and a few zip ties. The perch assembled easily, and I was appreciative of the included screws. I also have the Bird Buddy brand suet ball which screws directly in, and the perch was able to fit underneath and still have enough threads for a compatible fit (which maybe says better for the Bird buddy attachment). However, the suet ball is WAY TINY! I left a less-than-stellar review on the BB suet attachment as it is too small for any regularly sold suet balls, and this one is even smaller!At the end of the day, I installed the perch only, which is sturdy and has a good fit.
