This is a neat little spinning perch for smaller birds. Assembly just requires screwing in the already threaded posts and then clamping it to the top of your cage with the typical washer/wingnut setup for bird accessories.Each ball is a dense foam and the rope should stand up to sharp feet. The main bearing rotates smoothly, and is installed at a slight angle so that if a bird hops onto one of the sides gravity will cause it to turn to the lowest point.

We don’t have a bird, but we picked this up for my sister’s parrot, and I helped her set it up. Her bird was nervous at first but got curious quickly and started spinning and chewing on it. It’s colorful and keeps her feathered buddy entertained for hours. My kids even watched the bird play and thought it was hilarious. I like that it’s not made of cheap parts and feels sturdy. The spinning action keeps it interesting, and it was super easy to attach to the cage. Giving this 5 stars because it’s a simple toy that brings joy.
