Installation:
1. Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord.
2.Let the projector cool down for at least one hour, and let the lamp cool down sufficiently.
3. Loosen the lamp cover screw. Then slide the lamp cover off.
4. Loosen the two screws holding the lamp in place.
5. Hold the lamp as and pull it straight out.
Note
Turn off the power before replacing the lamp.
Clean the fan and surrounding dust before replacing the lamp to avoid abnormal temperature and cause the projector to malfunction.
After replacing the new lamp, clear the lamp usage time.
After turning off the projector, wait for the cooling to complete before unplugging the power cord.
Avoid other objects blocking the projector, which will cause abnormal heat dissipation, so as not to affect the life of the lamp and other faults.

I saw a number of replacement bulb assemblies for an Optoma HD20 and selected this one. It was not OEM but the price was good. After install, which was easy, I learned it was not a good choice. Color streaks and poor picture quality. I replaced with the origin bulb and will go with that for a while until I find an OEM bulb.

It is similar to the original housing with an unbranded bulb.I use the housing and replaced the bulb to an original one.In this case worked perfectly.
