This kit is worth it alone for the double sided installer block! If you've ever fought a ring onto an impact you'll be amazed how simple the process is with this kit. Overall the rings are decent replacements, they're not as tight as OEM Milwaukee... But sometimes Milwaukee are TOO tight out of the box. These are great for replacing worn out anvil rings that are causing you frustration when your sockets fall off. The friction is comparable to other brands when new, I compared them to other 1/2" impacts I have and the friction feels is equal. I would prefer a slightly tighter initial fit, but it's MUCH better than a worn out ring! Would definitely recommend this set!

The block makes installing the clips and rings easier than doing it by hand. The clips are practically identical to the stock ones on the brand-name tools I checked.I have a HFT impact wrench, that had trouble holding sockets when brand new. These clips look and feel the same as the original one; but the o-rings are significantly thicker, and keep the clip from compressing as far as the original one did.
