Update: after the second time now I have two gaping holes, and the center string feed button completely sheared off. Learn from my mistake, do yourself a favor and don't buy this.Cheap weak crappy plastic. Punched a huge hole through the side somehow on the first use. Get what you pay for I guess

The string that comes preloaded is short so it won't last long so make sure you have replacement string available.

The first one broke within 15 minutes the first time we used it. The second lasted two uses and broke on the thirdthird time right away. I'll get the manufacturers replacement now. Tried to save a little money.

Original is rh thread. Relacements i ordered are lh thread and threads are to recessed if they were right on threads

Everything was packaged already assembled, including the spool and string. It does not include a nut, so you need to save the one from your old trimmer as you disassemble. Following some youtube videos, I was able to repair my trimmer with a broken bump knob by myself, and I have a spare for if it happens again.
