Couldn't figure out how to use it and when I did, it wasn't comfortable. My violin kept slipping. I was disappointed as the reviews were decent.

this fits my 4/4 violin perfectly and makes everything so much better! it is softer on the chin and stops all the metal bits from jabbing into my neck and collarbone - less bruising! it also stops my chin from turning black from the chinrest. I can still use my shoulder rest and it's not affected, but everything is much more 'grippy' and easier to hold. I love it! wish i had bought it sooner!

so glad I got this. I'm a beginner and was finding the contact point on my jaw hurts. This cushions it so well and makes practice less painful.

For those of you with chin rests and no chin rest pad - get this one!! I'll admit it's a little bit thin where the pad comes into play, but I've thought about tucking something underneath it like a cut microfiber cloth just to add a little bit more. Definitely saves your chin after playing

This is so much more comfortable to play with and my skin is sensitive and used to get marks from holding up my violin without it. It works great. Although it is not advertised for a smaller violin 1/2 my daughter too uses the same one for her 1/2 violin and I use it for the full 4/4 violin.

This has worked perfectly for me. I am a violinist and orchestra teacher. I am allergic to the metal on the chin rest of my teaching violin. This allows me complete comfort and I like the extra padding!

We had been trying to find many different alternatives to prevent the discomfort on our chin line from the chin rest that was original to our violin. Currently my daughter and I are sharing my great grandfather’s violin, which is older than 100 years now. I hated to get rid of any original parts, so this was the perfect solution; super comfortable and it looks great!
