It works, but you'll get a decent hand muscle strengthening exercise as you have to keep continuously pumping to maintain a vacuum, at least in my experience. Got the job done, but I would have rather went and spent the extra $20 on a better one instead.

It doesnt seal, so vaccuum dont work. nipples dont fit. The compartment isnt sealed neither. Find another solution. Im tired, im pissed, i have less money. I just want to destroy the object.

Just to preface I've been working on cars for 16 years and have bled plenty of brakes in my time*I usually use the old jar and tube method but I didn't have an extra set of hands to help with that so seeing the price and great reviews I picked this up.It feels quality, nice case, but it just didn't pull well. I followed instructions, watched a youtube video and this was not user errorIt worked better without the fitting adaptors but even then I had to get a ziptie to get a decent suction, and this was on a run of the mill Honda civicIt pulls a lot of air from around the fitting and the jar doesn't hold suction well (yes the o-ring was installed)I ended up just getting a jar and asking my neighbor to help me bleed it the old fashioned waySo yeah, not great, like it kinda worked but I was expecting a lot better, I shouldn't have to ziptie the tubes to the lines and pump like my life depends on it only for it to still leak and pull air, so yeah... overall...."MEH"

I'm not sure why anyone would give this a bad review, it does exactly what its meant to do and it does it well. Maybe some people just shouldn't try to use tools if they can't use something so simple. Good product.

It came on time, perfectly packed. I'm not using it for bleeding brake lines, I'm using it to operate a vacuum funnel and other chemistry equipment, it works, it's cheaper than hand pumps listed as specifically for a vacuum filtration system, so if you want lab stuff on a budget, it works with a G3 Frit, pumping it constantly gets it up to 500/700 on its built in scale, you got to keep pumping it so while it will work for separation, it will get a little tedious for cake drying, maybe look into a cheap motorized pump instead.

2006 Crown Victoria P71I replaced all 4 calipers and had noone to help bleed.A little awkward to use at first but by the second caliper I got the knack for it.Parts are cheap plastic and inevitably the brake fluid will probably eat through them but for under 30 CAD , I got the job done alone.None of the fittings provided fit my bleeder screws but the hose plugged directly onI noticed after doing the front two that I wasn't getting a good seal with the hose on the bleeder screw when I went to do the back ones.I simply cut off about a quarter of an inch of hose and I had a nice tight fit on the bleeder screw again.New calipers always take forever to bleed I just kept going into all the fluid was coming out nice and clean.Instructions with it were pretty clear.I haven't tried testing vacuum with it I'm going to keep it strictly for doing brakes.Probably won't need to do that again for a few years and we'll see if the plastic survives that long.Came with a really nice Case by the way.

Is it commercial grade? Ahh hell no! Is it more than enough to bleed some stuff around your house when you need to? Ah hell yeah!!.. Tons of fittings and adaptors, and the hand pump gave more than enough suction. Bled the brakes on my ATV in a couple of tries.Be gentle with it, and you can't go wrong for the price!Hook it up, pump the vacuum up, and crack the bleeder, and watch the bubbles of air come right out into the container.. Cool!!

I bought this to use with a vacuum sealing canister and tubing to seal jars. It works really well for that purpose. Haven't tried it on brakes so can't speak to that.

Dint come with seals for the pump reservoir , the adapters don’t fit standard brake line bleeder screws , the pump gauge protective clear cap falls off , this kit in particular is not worth saving a few bucks , I don’t recommend this one , it’s crap.
