First off, this is BSPP, not NPT. Meaning that you have to use a gasket for it. Assuming you do so, it works fine and does not leak. All the other reviews saying it leaks are very likely not using it properly. While I do think the vendor should put the thread type on the description, if you ever can't tell, look at the pictures showing its use. If they're all with hoses, which means they have a nut as the connector, then it's almost certainly BSPP or other thread which requires a gasket.Secondly, one fact that very few check valves seem to provide (especially the cheap valves), is the cracking pressure. I haven't done any technical measurements, but it's extremely low, I'd say around 1psi.I'm using it in a low pressure situation, and seems to work fine.

Came apart on first pressure and plugged the water line. had to troubleshoot to find the issue, then realized a spring is missing and hopefully it's not up into my tankless water heater.
