Seeds left over 2 years ago: New batch bought in Aug 22: I have other seeds but only broccoli smells bad during germination stage.Will try again and update the review if necessary.

It is my first time to try broccoli seeds sprouting. I used various ways to get better results. For mason jar method, I always got bad smell and dark spots on sprouts on the fourth day even I rinsed them three times a day. I tried to use a kettle to make seeds zero light exposure, but still has same problem. Finally I used cheese cloth to let seeds get air easier. Then the problems solved. The germination rate is higher at around 70-80%, and even on the fifth days the sprouts are still growing without bad smell, not many dark spots either. Next time I may try organic seeds. Wish the shipping cost could be free or lower at that time.

These Food for Life broccoli sprouting seeds were fresh with a very high germination rate. I sprouted them in jars as well as on various media for microgreens. They sprouted equally well with just water in a jar, a hemp and coco coir mat as well as in potting mix. They even did well on a silicone mesh mat.They taste just like broccoli but pack more nutrients in a much smaller measure. although I'm using an LED grow light, I don't think they really need it ana a south or west facing window would be fine. I was so impressed I ordered a package of their alfalfa sprouting seeds which arrived today. However, these broccoli ones are really delicious and I probably stick with them in future. Nice to have a choice though.

These are awesome when Sprouted for a week, then rinsed very well to be placed in small freezer bags.I watched a very good YouTube about these seeds, how to sprout them, their amazing nutritional value, especially when frozen.I sprouted 4 very large jars of broccoli seeds so I'd have enough to put in smoothies, in salads etc...and give to my friend who wanted to try them. They have a unique nutty flavor...MMMM!

The germination of these seeds was quick and very complete. I scattered the seeds on the sprouting tray and within a few days had a very full tray of fast, well growing sprouts that lasted some time on the counter in the tray with the appropriate care. If I ever manage to eat my way through this entire giant bag I will certain buy this one again.

I started to delve into sprouting with some old seeds I had lying around at home and got hooked - But then the problem became finding more seeds in the dead of winter at a price that made it worthwhile. I don't live anywhere near a fancy health food store or a grocery retailer who would sell this kind of thing, so naturally I turned to the internet.This bag is HUGE. In terms of value relative to the weight, I haven't found a better deal anywhere. I sprouted them using the plain old glass jar method and found the germination rate was fantastic. I'm in between growth cycles right now, but when my next batch is ready I'll try to remember to post pictures!
