As advertised, this was a high-yield and genuine Brother cartridge. Lasted at least twice as long as the regular/standard size cartridges, and did not start 'leaking' toner when it got low (seems to be a common problem with cartridges for this model). Definitely recommend buying the cartridge from this seller!

I'm about to switch out the toner for the second replacement since purchasing my Brother Printer earlier this Spring. I bought a box of 10 reams of 500 pages at the same time - so that's 5000 pages in the box. Now according to the product specs one toner cartridge should be enough to go through that entire box... however, I'm only cracked open 4 reams of paper at this point, I'm on the 4th now, so I've printed less than 2000 pages yet I'm just starting my 3rd black toner cartridge. The first was the one that came with the printer, less capacity.. but whatever.. the second which I just finished is this model as is the 3rd I'm about to start. Regardless.. no where near 6500 pages. More like 1200 or so. It's still cheaper than printing at Staples or the Library, but still a lot more expensive than what I had hoped for. What are the test pages? Triple spaced with the toner saver setting on? Granted the documents I print have a lot of tables and a few b&w images so I wasn't expecting 6500. I would have been happy with half that.. but 1200?
