I am 78 and will not do a puzzle without a poster . This puzzle was high quality: strong pieces, sharp pictures, vivid colors. The poster was large , a great help for old eyes. This took us a long time and it was fun and rewarding.

This is one of my favorite puzzle designs of all time. Who doesn't want to walk outside to this scene?The puzzle is the right mix of challenge and enjoyment. The top half with the sky is pretty hard and took a long time; the bottom with the deck, dogs, boat, etc. was much faster for me to complete. I worked on this puzzle off and on for about a week. Using a puzzle board with a turntable really helped. I had a little trouble with glare (the photo exaggerates the glare; it was not as bad as it looks in the photo). The puzzle comes with a very handy mini-poster.I had to knock a star off because there more than an acceptable number of poorly cut, torn, or peeled pieces. I usually expect a couple like this in a 1000 piece puzzle - it's going to happen. But there were 2 pieces still stuck together that I had to cut with a blade to separate. There were several peeled pieces that I had to press flat under a brick. It's a shame because it's otherwise a delightful puzzle.I still recommend it but just note you may want to be prepared with an Exacto knife and glue stick. The artist's beautiful work deserves better quality on the puzzle.
