Great fidget for the money. Lightweight and the "wood" feels nice. Has lots of slop in it, which does not take away from its functionality đđ.

I first discovered the "infinity cube" style fidget toy at a 7/11 in Mexico, and I fell in love with it as a meditation tool (think Chinese Baoding balls). I just received this wooden one, and they are a significant upgrade in a couple of ways. Firstly, it's obviously more pleasant on a tactile and sonic level than the plastic, though the plastic offers its own clicky charm. The wood is heavier and a bit larger, so the gravity aspect of the unfolding is a bit easier and more satisfying. I feel like wood is also just generally healthier on an energetic level than plastic, but this could just be my mind projecting an idea onto the experience. Either way, I just ordered a second wooden one because I really like using them simultaneously in each hand to stimulate and synchronize both hemispheres of my brain. I'm not a teenage boy; I'm a forty year old man. I don't think I'm autistic; I'm just deeply into meditation tools. In short, I highly endorse this product. I'm even considering ordering a few more to customize them with my wood burning tool, but still on the fence about that idea.

The joints are wooden, and the cube feels a little loosely put together, will likely cause problems in the long run. Keep dry

I loved how smooth the wood was and how easy it is to play with! Slightly lighter colored wood than the product picture, by the way. It's 100% wood (wood hinges as well), but that also means in this case that the hinges need a bit of usage before it becomes a completely smoothly folding toy. I've had mine for a couple weeks and one hinge still needs a little wearing down, but I don't use this fidget every single day (though I would if I could). It's not as quiet as I hoped (I was expecting almost silent), but it does have this satisfying little click that happens when the wood taps itself, like those wooden ball and metal wire toys they used to have at the dentist's office for toddlers. I gave it 5 stars because the occasional sticking wasn't enough to bring it down a star, only like half a star. (I rate it 4.5 stars)(Pop Rocks for size reference)

Love this fidget, it does take a bit of fidgeting at first to break it in. It is solid and fun for any age to fidget with. I bought mine on Amazon.com as it was $9.99 there, and when checking Amazon.ca it was $72.00!! If you can believe that! I see it is $46.00 now, which is much lower, but still more than triple the price of the cost on amazon.com, come on, even with shipping from amazon.com It is still much cheaper. Anyway for a wooden infinity cube it is very well made!

This review will cover the material and construction quality, and all that follows from that. Fidget cubes are fidget cubes, the only difference is build. And this build is big time good stuff, baby.I was worried that the wood would feel too light in the hand, like with the plastic versions. I predicted â accurately, due to my uniquely superior forecasting abilities â that the weight of the wood would not weigh as metal weighs, and I would be proven right. For as soon as I held the piece in my palm, to it and the Gods I said, âoooh, that has a bit of heft to it!â So, no problems there. The wood also has a nice, smooth, texture. No rough edges or anything like that. And being wood it will stay warm. No playing with a cold metal cube like our ancestors had to suffer. Nay!Once I started to play with it⌠âoh no. The joints are stiff.â Out of the box, I had to use effort to get the cube into each position. A cube would get caught in tension as it folded around another, or a hinge wouldnât turn completely. âDang nabbit!â I cursed, as I punched the wall next to me, the blood pooling from my knuckles glinted like the eyes of the children near by, both reflecting a frightening sense of danger. âHad I wasted my $10?!âNah. Once you break it in it works fine. Thereâs still a bit of finger work in getting a few positions into, uh, position. But honestly? I like that. With the metal version I had (now broken in half from a day of being forgotten in a pocket and a roundabout in the washer), it would simply slop into every position, requiring less finger dexterity and more mindless flopping of one hand. I much prefer the wood in this regard.Though the initial rigidity is only part of the equation. The size is noticeably larger than my now past metal cube. I assume this is due to the lack of precision engineering available when using metal, so the parts are made larger to compensate. The consequence? Well, If I am to trust the measurements of the traitors and villains that are latex glove manufacturers, then I have medium/large hands. And this cube may be too large for one-handed use for someone cursed with the feeble, puny, hands like that of a childâs. Though I do enjoy making it go all clickity-clack with both hands, tooâso thatâs cool.Oh, and clickity-clack it does, my good friends. I simply adore the pleasantly subtle sound of the wood clacking into place. It isnât like the metal versions, with the loud clinks and metallic slaps; far too loud for a library! This wooden model is quiet enough to not be a bother to others, but audible enough to notice when youâre alone, lost in thought, perhaps pondering your place in the grand cosmic play we find ourselves in, or, wondering if that feeling you got in your gut is warning for you to run, for the question that rises up is:Do you gotta go poop or merely toot?*Pffft* Anyway, I say go for it, and get you one these.Plus, Itâs more environmentally friendly as worms eat wood but not plastic or metal. And wood is a cheaper material and the price reflects thatâa kindness they could have easily done without and marketed this as a âboutiqueâ style product. My respect goes out to the bad mfs over at BunMoâ˘ÂŽÂŠ. I love you. Please return my calls. I know youâve been getting my texts. PleaseâŚWish there were more wood types though. I like dark woods, this is not that.2/10âGarbabge, would buy again
