Purchased these pants in October, 3 months before our first snow. Tried on, then immediately hung in the closet. Finally, mid January rolls around and it snows. It's now not even March... after 2 trips to the mountain, I happen to notice these rips/tears that look like razer blade cuts. There are 2 major tears and a few slides that didn't make it all the way through. After contacting support, I was told this is "normal" wear and tear. So my understanding is that is normal for Burton products? Pretty bummed about them not helping to at least repair them after such a short amount of time. I'd highly suggest the Amazon Choice product for anyone looking for pants that might last you a full winter, and literally, more than 8 hours of actual use.They DID send me to a link to google search results to repair them myself. But these for my teenager, as they were unavailable from the Burton, website directly. They are excellent quality and waterproof. Also very warm. He wears them skiing about 20 days a year

First of all - I’m a winter gear junkie and I try everything until I find the what i like the best.What can I say. This is my second pair - and when these are worn or I gain more covid weight (current situation) - I’ll buy them again.I haven’t gone skiing this year but I walk my 2 huskies 30min 2x/day and snow blowing in the Chicago area. I’ve had these on with only jeans on in -10 temp and -25 windchill and didn’t feel a thing!Great pockets - crotch cooling zippers - waist adjustment - boot powder skirts.Best snow pants I’ve ever purchased.
