When we have our daughter's friends come over for a playdate, I'm always looking to see what DIY kits are available.This DIY kit is to create headbands and hair clips. It has all the accessories and decorations to help achieve that and is fairly accurate to what was inside the box.The girls found it interesting and I showed them pictures from this product page to give them an idea of what this kit can do. The box itself should have included some details of what is achievable with the kit.The other item not included is the glue and scissors. Therefore, this requires adult supervision throughout the entire DIY. [Not a big deal, but something to be aware of as it isn't like a bracelet kit where you can leave the kids alone after initial set up.]. Some of the glitter strips have a sticky back and those did not require glue, but had to be cut because they were too long.This is good for ages 6-8.There are no instructions in the box to say what this is for etc...Be nice if a small paper manual was included so the recipient would have an idea of what this is.The box itself is designed with colours, but blank on any descriptions outside of the box. Recommend to put a description on the packaging itself similar to may DIY kits that are sold at toy stores.

This kit is so well-stocked and absolutely adorable! There are so many possible projects that kids can make to express their creativity. I am gushing over how cute the embellishments are - and a little shocked in the best way by their level of quality. So much sparkle, lots of cheerful colour, and all the classic modern themes: unicorns, mermaids, animal ears, bows, flowers and butterflies. I can't wait for my niece to see it - she is going to be ecstatic!!The quality of the headbands, clips and bracelets vary somewhat, but overall acceptable for a kids kit. Only a few items have sticker backs, so most things will need to be glued on. Three glue sticks have been provided - I think they will be fine for smaller items, but not the larger embellishments. I will have a glue gun on hand, just in case.=====Edit: the glue works well!!!! My niece loved it. Highly recommend this kit.

Very cute headbands and comes with plenty of pieces to make multiple headbands. My main gripe is with the actual headbands themselves. They're actually just plastic with a strip of fabric ribbon glued on the top, and they aren't glued very well; flexing the headband shows multiple spots where the fabric lifts from the headband. Oddly enough the thinner headbands are actually nicer, being fully encased in a soft fabric. However, as a kids' DIY set it's still acceptable, as after all the bands and everything are attached things are a bit more secure (the pom poms have small elastic loops that loop over the headband and help keep things in place).Overall it's not a bad set, but it's definitely on the cheaper (build quality wise) side. However, for $17 for this many materials and this much fun with my kid it's still a pretty good buy; just not a great one.

This is such a fun craft kit for children who enjoy making headbands or other accessories. There are so many parts to this kit, which allows children to be as creative as they want when making new headbands.The headband size is on the large size, so best for children with larger heads or children who are older (around age seven or eight).

Cute little kit to make a bunch of headbands, hair clips and bracelets. Really cool to provide the glue as well.Theres lots of different things to make each head band unique and fun. Kept a bunch of 4 year olds busy for quite some time. Everyone looked they headbands.

Omg SO FUN! This kit comes with so many accessories, strong glues and is exactly as pictured. I bought it for my 2.5 year old… however I’ve been making the accessories. She can’t quite glue things yet. Anyway she loves them, I love them, my older sons had some fun making her hair accessories too! A definite buy for some colourful hair accessory fun!

I ordered this set of hairband, hair pin and bracelet making kit for my daughter because she loves DIY small things, especially jewelry and hair accessories. So when I see this kit available, I think it would be perfect for her. So far she does love this kit very much, and we had a lot of fun making new hairbands and accessories together!First of all, everything included in this kit are made in really nice quality and all decor pieces are beautiful to look at. The kit includes total 10 hair bands (wide and thin each 5 counts), 8 hair pins and 2 clear acrylic bracelets. Basically my daughter could DIY her own hairband and hair pins with the wide assortment of decoration pieces included in the kit. The instant glue sticks well and doesn't smell. My daughter is currently 9 years old, she's able to complete the hairband on her own with her creativities... and her favourite one so far is the unicorn one!My daughter had lots of fun making her own little DIYs, and as mom I do happily recommend this kit to all parents. :)
