Glad I got this book, my 2 year old is already understanding the concepts after us reading it a few times and even doing the breathing pages with me. We read it last night during a tantrum and she calmed down almost instantly. Highly recommended!!!

I bought this book for my 3 year old and its great! It really gives kids some great ways to calm themselves down with some wonderful illustrations. Plus it has tips in the back for parents. I want to buy more books from this author.

I especially like the pages at the end that are addressed to caregivers. Good for anyone that isn’t willing to research mindful ways to calm down a child.

We read this to understand big feelings. My son is 3 and understands. This book is perfect for anyone just starting out to discuss feelings and how to calm down. I keep this book with other calm down items for when he has some moments.

A wonderful book on how to deal with overwhelming emotions. This book has been great for my toddler. It’s positive and emphasizes on taking deep breaths and quiet time. The back of the book has helpful resources and strategies for parents. This would make a great gift! HIGHLY recommended

I was surprised at how much my 16 month old loves this book. As she hands me the book to read, she takes a big deep breath in and out, as she knows what the book is about. We also talk about her favourite pillow that we keep on the floor and just like the book, we talk about it being a good place for a deep breath. I think it's a good place to start thinking about mindfulness and emotional well-being - which will be a life-long endeavour.
