love this cello mute! I have had it for a few. months, and is still working really good! it has a really nice sound as well! fits my 4/4 cello perfectly

Difficult to get situated below the bridge when off and even more difficult to get on when needed. Works well once on but wouldn't be great for a passage that requires a quick change!

I tried 6 different mutes and this is the one my colleagues like best for the sound. There is a bit of oily odor, it's strong if you hold right by your nose, but not too noticeable otherwise. It is fairly easy to get on and off the bridge, but makes a little bit of noise when doing so. I suspect with time it will wear a bit and the on/off noise shouldn't be a problem.
