My fountain pen and fineliners don't bleed through, but alcohol markers do. It can hold a very thin wash of watercolor but even then it's starting to warp, so just be careful about that. Overall I really like it for learning and its not so fancy that I feel scared to use it!

Great for any artist. This is mixed media paper, but it seems more like just a regular sketch book. Paint will not hold up on this paper. It would be ok to glue or stick things to the paper and for pens, pencils, crayons or marker sketching. I got one for my daughter & 1 for myself. I'll be using mine for sketching.

I've purchased this 4 or 5 times in the past few months. My markers don't go through the page. Pencils and pens glide smoothly. Sturdy cover. Small but not too small, perfect size for me as I find big paper a little intimidating for painting. The pages warp a little with watercolour but the paint doesn't bleed through, it's a cheap find and there are worse things. I really like the tear-off lines. The spacing in the binding is nice as it leaves room for the pages to expand as you fill the book. And a weird thing, I really like the texture of the cover page-- it's really soft and smooth. I panic bought my first one when quarantine first started and before Amazon orders were backed up and I'm so glad I did. I filled the first book immediately. Purchased a couple more for myself and one for my sister.

Ti promette che puoi usare acquarelli,acrilici, gouache, penna e matite e mantiene la sua promessa alla grande!L'ho testato con lavori abbastanza impegnativi così da vederne quanto si può spingere e sono rimasta sorpresa, la qualità è strabiliante, l'aspetto del foglio non molto spesso ti inganna perchè quando ho usato gli acquarelli ha mantenuto benissimo l'acqua, non si è mai rovinato mentre dipingevo, insomma fantastico. L'ho comprerò di nuovo subito appena finisco questo che ho preso, ve lo consiglio!!

Art lovers this is the sketchbook for you. I have tried many sketchbooks but this one definitely stands out to be among the best. The pages are sturdy but not overly thick, which means that it can hold lots of water/marker, and there is only a slight grain so that the texture of the paper is generally smooth, which I personally love as blending with colour pencils becomes much easier and the outcome is great. The spiral binding is so convenient as you can work on one page/piece easily. The pages can be torn off easily, with a smooth line and not that wierd, rough tear that spiral-binding creates. This is because on each page next to the binding there is a pre-cut 'line' (it's not actually visible but you can see the shadow it creates) which you can tear the page off neatly by, which makes this sketchbook great for any pieces you want to frame or put on a wall.

These are my favourite sketchbook/personal diary with bits of art. Much more reasonable cost on Amazon than at my local art shop. Excellent quality paper and comfortable size to work with. I ordered 2, and the next day ordered another 2. I have used charcoal, conté, markers, watercolour, pens, acrylic paint on this paper and it holds up beautifully. There is a fine perforated edge if you want to remove a page and it’s always torn off easily.

I thought I wasn't too found of this paper since I remember buying a much larger pad of it and returning it, but I'm very happy to have this in a smaller size. This isn't as thick as the Strathmore series even though they say they are the same, this is obviously thinner. But it seems to be a decent mixed media paper, and at the right price!There is a very slight tooth to this paper, but is still relatively smooth. Enough to use colored pencil in mixed media, but you might want more tooth for larger projects that require more tooth. Watercolor goes down really well on these, not soaking into the paper, but spreading evenly. The paper does bend a bit with the water, but not too badly. Nothing a little weight on it couldn't mend out. Pen and ink go down great on these, again the smoothness carries the ink far. The thickness of this paper holds everything I've put on it including oil pastels, and watercolors. I'm very confident it would hold acrylics with ease.I think this is actually a really decent mixed media paper, it is the closest thing I have found to being able to hold that name.

A mi me ha encantado, ya lo termine, use acuarela, rotuladores base alcohol (estos sangran bastante,pero es normal, en lo que mejor funcionan es en papeles especiales para ellos) lapices , tinta .y super bien, me ha quedado un cuaderno muy guapo :) Si lo que buscas es papel para esbozos, pruebas, bocetos, y experimentar tecnicas, a mi me ha ido genial

Schönes, dickes Papier, das auch bei Aquarellfarben und alkoholbasierter Tinte einiges aushält. Perfekt geeignet, wenn man mit allen möglichen Medien gerne experimentiert, ein Bullet Journal führen will oder nach einem Aquarell-Sketchbook sucht, das auch Marker o.ä. aushält. Qualitativ sehr hochwertig, der Ringeinband stört mich als Linkshänder nicht so stark. Die Seiten sind mikroperforiert, sodass man sie problemlos und sauber heraustrennen kann, wenn man mit einer Seite etwas anderes vor hat. Und wenn einmal was schief geht, kann man die Seite komplett herausreißen und niemand wird merken, dass eine Seite fehlt, was einem genug Sicherheit bein Füllen der Seiten gibt (anders als bei gebundenen Sketchbooks wie den Moleskine Skizzenbüchern, wo man Seiten nicht rückstandslos entfernen kann. Trotzdem super Marke, aber teuer, ich bevorzuge dieses Canson Sketchbook.)Ich weiß nicht, was man sich noch mehr wünschen könnte, vor allem für das Geld. Würde es echt jedem weiterempfehlen und werde es mir definitiv nochmal kaufen, wenn ich mein jetziges Sketchbook vollendet habe :)

This is an excellent quality mix media book for a great price. The size is very reasonable, not too small or too large. The coils make for easier positioning and comfort while drawing compared to most similar products that are bound at the back like a book. The coils are also very sturdy and won't easily bend out of position. The paper holds up with all the different mediums I have tried I have used it for pencil sketching, pencil crayon, marker (including permanent), paint, and watercolour pencils. It is very strong and very thick paper, so it doesn't wrinkle easily. There is a very good perforated line for ripping out pages. I can just fold forward and backwards on the perforated line, and it will automatically pop the page off with no tears or frays.Just one thing to note, that sometimes while using permanent markers (like a sharpie for example) or watercolour, they may bleed through to the back of the page. But from my experience, it will not bleed onto the next page, so you can easily draw or paint without having to worry about a previous picture or tearing your page out. Just bear in mind if you are using mediums like permanent ink or watercolour that it is best to only use one side of the page.This is my second time purchasing, but my first time through amazon. The new one from amazon arrived yesterday in 100% perfect quality and the arrival time was extremely quick and efficient. I will most definitely be purchasing again!
