I went to the Stihl store to get an OEM carb and it was $75. I told the repair man that I could get a carb and more for around $30. It said it was worth a try.Carb went on in less than 20 mins (I bet I could do the next one in less than 10) and it worked on the third pull just like the original. Thanks!

Nothing worked or fit from this kit… by the time I was able to get time to work on my weed wacker, was too late for refund. Air filter material is horrible and doesn’t fit and neither did the spark plug and the fuel filter didn’t either.

The throttle cable connection is not the same, not all models have the same connector attachment, this carburetor attachment can be modified carefully to work( do at your own risk). My carb on left ,new one on right, remove the attachment, hold it carefully , drill a small hole as seen with red arrow, then make a small slit where upper right arrow is, careful not to cut right to other side like I did. Screw back into carb, push down the throttle attachment, slip the wire through the original slit the through slit you made , then push pin head of wire down hole you made, that's it. Works great. Did this cause I can not find the exact replacement carb.
