Tomatillo | 'Toma Verde' | 35-40 Seeds
Tomatillo
Toma Verde Tomatillo is a compact heirloom plant. Firm fruits are covered in a paper type husk that will transition from green to light brown. When the fruit reaches its full size, the husk will split open. Toma verde is a Mexican favourite; it's used in salsas, soups, dips and sauces. Packet contains 35 - 40 seeds.

Planted the approx. 80 days ago (Started in an AeroGarden) after 18 days we planted them outside and had water restrictions placed on us for about 3 weeks I wasn't sure if they'd survive, but as you can see they are growing very well. First time buying from this company, probably will not be my last.

Out of the four packages of seeds I purchased, only the seeds for cherry tomatoes sprouted. All the seeds were started in the same growing medium, in the same green house environment along with half a dozen different vegetable seeds from McKxxxxx, Burxxx, and Valxxx Grexx. All the seed from the other companies sprouted and some of that seed was two years past the best before date.

I ordered these in early spring, and they came quickly. Germination rate was ok. Started them inside and they were finicky and slow to grow. Once transplanted to the backyard they took off (plants now tall as me) and they are covered in fruit. So, I am happy with this purchase.
