I was looking for a broom with soft bristles that wouldn't scratch my floors or siding when washing. All the big box stores only had brooms with very stiff bristles. This item was perfect. I used it to wash painted porch and painted siding on house. Worked perfectly. Very well made, sturdy construction.

I like this for cleaning tile since it sweeps the dirt out of the grout lines rather than depositing dirt there as does a flat mop head.
