Although it can work, it really isn't adequately sized for a 4 AWG wire. You have to remove the red seal and cut some of the wire strands to get it to fit. Of course that produces an overheating/failure risk. The other thing is that one of the fuses burnt out and not in such a way that you could see the link severed. Had to test the system with a continuity tester to discover that the fuse no longer connected even though it looked fine.

Worked for a small stereo in my truck. Does seem a tad cheaper than a name brand one. I'd recommend being carefully when screwing it together not to crossthread it i would imagine it might snap. Used 8 guage wire and it fits. Fuses were a bit big for my needs but I had extra ones that were less amp. Overall its a good value id say.

For its price, you can't beat this kind of fuse! They sell fuse holder like this over at audio store for like $35 each and that's without the glass fuse which is another $9. (sure the $35 fuse holder is nicer looking, but overall they have the same functionality). Would buy here again without hesitation next time I need fuse holder

The installation is straightforward and easy. The platic feels very cheap but didn't break when screwing it in. Overall I feel like the quality is not as good as I'd like to get with 60amps but it does the job. I wouldn't use it on a boat or anywhere where waterproofing is needed but inside a car it should be fine. One of the fuses was broken when I received it and my 4 awg wire didn't fit so I had to drill bigger holes. I will probably end up replacing them, I don't think one will survive a winter in the engine bay.

Really disappointed. I was surprised why it came two and now I understand.. it's because they brake easly. If you have a 4awg they don't fit that well due to the isulator. The plastic isn't strong and I have no faith on those fuses. Disappointed

Bought this for a power wire for car audio. Fuse holder is great. Connects 4 awg wire nice and secure and has o-rings for a tight seal.
