This is a solid cast iron burger press with a nice handle to allow quick and easy use of the press during cooking. The item sears beautifully and is as simple to clean as your standard cast iron pan. Be sure to clean with care so as not to strip the seasoning, if you are not familiar with cast iron. The spatula that comes with the press is small and nothing special (as far as quality), but it does the job and doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart while flipping burgers. All in all, I am happy with the press. It does what I want and feels solid in the hands and I would recommend.

The smash utensil is VERY heavy, it presses burgers down with ease, and feels very high quality. The spatula - is light and not really the best to be honest. I wanted this set specifically for the smash utensil - so that's what I'm basing the review off of.It's easy to clean, and I'm sure would have no issues being thrown in the dishwasher. The spatula though, is kind of light and flimsy - I would look for a better one for regular use, I feel like it could break easily.

I mostly got this kit for the burger press, but the spatula his not bad!! A little bit small for my big hands, but it will fit nicely with my other "BBQ tools". The burger press itself is very nice! It has a good weight, the size is large enough for even the biggest burger and the cast iron quality seems very good too! It is smooth, no burs or imperfections i the casting. It is exactly as pictured! I would definitely recommend it!

Meat press and spatula. At the time of this review the cost of this item is 27.99 with a 20% off coupon (so about 22.50).The metal does seem to be cast iron (I'm no expert). It's heavy and has weight to it.However, the wood hardware leaves much to be desired. Especially with the spatula. Its very light weight and feels cheap. Something you'd pick up at the dollar store for a couple bucks. I can't see it holding up long because of how flimsy it is. It seems like it will come apart easily. As the press does have weight to it, it does its job well. Have only used it with steak so far and it worked as advertised. Helped to sear it nicely. Will see how long the wooden handle holds up. It was loose upon arrival and I had to tighten the screws before the first use.For the price and quality, I don't know if I would pay more than 15 dollars for these items.3/5
