These slides are not individually wrapped that is why there is an oily substance that needs to be wiped off with alcohol.They are of good quality and can be reused many times. Make sure to order slide covers ( small squares to cover the stain samples) as this slide pack is only slides.Overall a good buy, just make sure the slides are cleaned properly before using them.

Lots of microscopes come with a few starter slides, but it's annoying to have to keep washing them, and you can't keep all your different samples so you can compare things. This is very reasonably priced and now we have enough slides to keep all the budding scientists in the family busy. This would be a great gift for anyone who enjoys working with microscopes!

Bought as a gift for my 8 year old grandson. This is an item that takes more skill than either of us has. He may be able to use it eventually, but even I find it a little daunting. I need to improve my slide preparation skills. It is an excellent kit for the price. The slides are in a box and the covers are in a package that, once you unwrap it, may be difficult to keep -- they are very thin. I will leave him with the present and try to teach him how to prepare slides once I get the skills myself. I will be looking for a storage box that works for the two components and some labels as well.

These slides were perfect for my microbiology lab class. They arrived bubbled wrapped and taped inside of the another box. Each slide is separated by a thin lens paper. Cover slips are in a separate box that is wrapped but I will not be using those so I will not unwrap it from its plastic. I believe there are 100 of the cover slips, just incase. The quality of the slides are great. They aren't the really thin ones that I have had to work with before. I have actually dropped the slide (accidently) and it didn't even break. You will not go wrong buying these slides. They also come in a very sturdy box. I went to check the price of microscope slides in my community college's bookstore and was so glad I ordered them from Amazon. They were an extra 4 dollars at the bookstore and it was only for a pack of 12!! So thank you Amazon!!! Hope this helps!!!

Clean slides, packed nicely with paper in between each slide. My 8 year old daughter likes making her own slides and these are great to use and were inexpensive. They arrived in secure packaging.The items arrived in a secure plastic pouch but it is not re-usable. One caution, which is not a fault of the manufacturer: I suggest putting the box in a ziplock bag or secure small box. We had this on the table and my daughter picked it up to move it and was only holding it by one side, and the bottom sagged open on the other side which made the slides fall out. Many ended up on the floor, cracked. The box isn't flimsy, but I should have secured it better or separated a few slides out for her to work with instead of the entire box.

Ottimo articolo e rapporto qualità prezzo. Ad ora non ho rilevato imperfezioni ne sui vetrini portaoggetti ne sui copri.I coprioggetto hanno dimensione 22x22mm mentre i portaoggetti 25x75mm con angoli a 90° non stondati.Per precisazione, la confezione non é quella della foto.
