If you don't want to spend a kagillion dollars on real gold the best way to go is stainless steel. It won't turn green or any other color for that matter. These necklaces are a nice weight but the color of the gold is definitely more of a bronze but it is still beautiful.

The picture leads you believe the necklace is one individual chain; it is two chains, difficult to wear as demonstrated in picture.The quality is not there.

The two chains are different sizes of paperchip chain, but are basically the same length. I put an extender on the non-pendant chain. Very nice and simple, trendy, good quality for price.

It's nice when put on initial. But I'm someone who puts on a necklace, and it stays on for a month..I find it gets heavy and sore. The 2 chains easily twist together, making it look messy and not very good.But if you're just going to put it on for a particular occasion/look, it's really nice. Just remember it's a bit heavy.

So far I love this paperclip chain initial set. Both chains are heavy and sturdy. I don’t feel like with will break easily. They are a bit shorter than an average chain set but I have these as short as they will in this picture. I think they are a perfect length for the trend right now. Love these and would recommend as a great gift.

I really like this necklace! it’s a little short but good quality and doesn’t tarnish even after consistently wearing it throughout the day & over night. I don’t wear it in the shower but I don’t think it would tarnish if you did

I like these chains. I don’t mind that The back is blank because it’s so snug that it probably will never flip around while wearing it on my neck. The quality seems pretty good.

I am hung up on the paper clip style that is so popular. I can’t really afford the size I like in gold, and sterling silver in a large link size isn’t easy to find. Thought I would try these stainless chains layered in gold. They are exactly the size I wanted, but they are weighty. My other thought is it’s hard to see that they have any gold over. I thought that the gold over would make them appear whiter, not so steel looking. That is not the case. You can see in my pics I’ve layered the choker and initial pendant between two sterling silver chains. They look pretty good in the photo, but when I look in the mirror the two stainless steel chains look darker. It is may just be my lighting in front of the mirror. The photos were taken outside. My other issue is that the choker, even at the max extension, was too tight for my neck. I added a small magnet clasp and it is just enough longer to fit where I am comfortable as well as easier to put on. I think, for the price these would be a good addition to any jewelry wardrobe on a budget. I look forward to wearing them often!
