Online description is inadequate to say the least And the paperwork is not much better. But with a half a brain you can get this in, in no time. The product runs great is quiet. Gets nice and hot fast. The front top of the furnace gets to roughly a hundred and thirty degrees after twenty minutes of running. Note- It requires an opening for return air, It doesn't actually burn it but it Requires it and functions a lot better..First before you do anything, You We'll need to hook it up and run it outside for about 20 minutes to get the smoke and smell out. That comes with new paint. But after that it does great All you need is a two stage regulator from the LP tanks, 3/8 inch F. L. R. Fitting for the gas Inlet, off valve, gas line and some 18/4 wire For power and thermostat. Some tools, wood, A little know how and you're in business!

Bought unit to replace my not so quiet furnace. Installed in RV, and was twice as noisy as original unit. Removed unit and inspected. Found fan was broken. No external damage found, so unit was damaged from manufacturer. Terrible quality control. Returned unit for refund, and istalled original unit. Would no reccommend.

I bought this unit for a custom van build. For my application, the direct discharge worked perfect and there is an option for a 4" duct out the side if you need. NOTE: if you are installing this in a custom setup like me, you will need a TWO STAGE propane regulator, the single stage will not work. I could not get it to ignite and finally after talking to tech support we realized I bought a single stage regulator. After installing a new two stage, it ignited immediately. The fan inside is average noise for an RV propane heater, however the outside exhaust is nearly silent. The biggest feature for me was the operating draw being only 2.7 amps 12v. This is a huge win for a van build operating on 12v batteries and solar. Ultimately I decided to go this route over a diesel parking heater because the system is better built and works on regular style RV thermostats which I was familiar with.

The instructions aren't very clear. So if you're not an electrician, this might be a difficult installation. I muttered through it because I've done these a few times, but my main gripe is that the outer housing is very thin metal, if you don't set this thing perfectly the first time, it will bind on the fan which is very close to the outer housing, making quite a deal of noise. After a few adjustments, I was able to get it to set in there to where there was no fan noises. They should move the fan a little bit away from the outer housing, and also give a more sturdy outer housing for durability and mounting purposes.

In my situation it was very easy to install but that's meaningless for other situations. This was a replacement for a 16k BTU model that was defective and returned. It's no longer carried by Amazon. I decided to go a little larger as long as I had to reorder. My camp trailer is a rebuild older model, about 950 cubic ft. So far it hasn't been below freezing here but this has heated it nicely at 34F outside temps. It's slightly noisy but easy to live with. It's certainly better than having water running down the windows from my Big Buddy Heater that was the previous heat source.

The unit arrived and had a dented sidewall which I was able to fix. There was also no propane shut off valve or thermostat included, both of which I was expecting to be included as they are indicated included on the OEM's website for this particular furnace. Not happy at all with this purchase.
