Easy to install, I love that they supply you with the drill bit to cut holes. Cups are a nice size and my ducks can actually use them as well as the chickens. Price is reasonable. Cups are very durable and have withstood our canadian winter so far. They do not leak and fill when get empty.

These are great little items. They keep a nice amount of water available to my chickens. I put them on a 5 gallon pail and it has made my life so much easier. In the winter, I use them on a heated water pail and just gently squeeze the cups, let the ice out and they refill. They come with a drill bit and instructions for installation. They seem to be quite rigid too as my dogs will use them and they are pretty rough. So far, they have made it through 2 winters which I would consider getting my money's worth.

I have had chickens on my farm for the lat 20 years and watering was an is of course very important. A chicken can die of dehydration in a day. Conserving water is critical for me as I live on a dry island which complicates watering the birds. My source of water is 4 45gal tanks fed by a catchment system. The issue is getting the water to the girls without wasting it.I have used gravity drip - a waste of water; Metal water tanks that leaks water as the base drops - a lot of work base always clogged up with you know what; Little red dups that issue drops when the small trigger in the cup is pecked by the chicken - again dirt, sand etc clogs up the trigger and no water, lots of maintenance. This product was very simple to install - get a pail, drill a small hole 3" from the bottom and screw the cups into the pail. I left the lid on the pail and drilled a hole in it to accept a watering hose from my storage tanks that are outside of the coop. To refill the pail, I just open the valve on my storage tank until it overflows from the pail and bingo - my girls are good for 5 days. The cups hold lots of water - not drips and drops - and stays full on demand.Cant be beat.

These work pretty good but still do leak a little bit. Not a huge deal though. Definitely recommend these for lazy-girl chicken watering haha.

I was sceptical about the claims of these being leak-free. I was going out of my mind with my previous chook water cups constantly leaking. These are brilliant and work differently to the cups that have a float.

I was hopeful but they don’t work. The system leaks, leaving your birds without water and a wet house

Very easy to install on 5 gallon buckets. The weight of the water pulls the cup down, and if it happens to go empty you can easily tell from a distance because they are tilted upward. This is handy if you have multiple chores throughout the week as you dont have to constantly look inside the bucket to see what their water level is at. They function exactly as they are supposed to providing the perfect amount of water for your flock to dip their beaks into. I've found that using this system, the water stays clean which saves me from doing extra work and keeps my girls healthy. It's a win win.

I just started using these chicken waterer cups within the last few weeks, but so far I am very pleased with them. They are easy to install, stay cleaner than a standard chicken waterer, and are easier to use...they even come with a drill bit for installation! The instructions say that it's best to use a bucket bigger than 5 gallons, but two 5-gallon buckets are exactly what I used and they work perfectly. I spent around $20 for these and now have two 5-gallon waterers; it would have cost 3-4 times that (at least) to purchase standard waters comparable to that size. Very pleased with this purchase! We'll see how long they stand up to everyday use...I'll update this review accordingly!
