Yea, if you use them, they are a one time use. If you take them out throw them away cause threads are chewed. I broke 2 heads off on each side of my tank holders.Complete trash, now I have to spend $75 on new tank mounts for my Yamaha r6.I tried them today on a wake board, of course they snapped in the board. So basically useless…

I've bought other aluminum bolt kits from Amazon, found them too shallow for the soft metal to tighten. These have a nice deep head on them, and I didn't have a single one shear or notice any out of the box deformities.
