A valley on my roof had been “fixed” professionally about 2 years ago. We had some rain storms recently and this one trouble spot started to leak again. I think the ice from the winter had damaged the membrane that had been installed. I inspected and applied about one strip of this material to the area……and it worked. The rains came again, but no leak! Even if it happens to get worn I believe I can repatch with the tape. I love it when a plan comes together. So pleased.

I bought this stuff to use as sound dampening for my trunk and behind my license plate works like a charm. Pretty happy guy. Thanks again

The roof vent in our trailer bedroom always had problems since we got it (used trailer) I don't know why but every time I'd seal it within 3 months it would start leaking again.Anyways I cleaned off all the old stuff that was on it and gave the bare metal a light sanding then another quick wipe down.. It was cold when I installed it about 5 degrees celcius, I grabbed my propane torch and slightly warmed up the metal so it would bond properly and it worked, the next day it rained very heavily and steady and no leaks or since.Highly recommend, I may buy another roll to keep on hand just in case I need it, at this price why not?

Good for sealing roof. Also I used as a sound deadening material in my vehicle. It works very well. And easy to apply.

Somebody came into our barn and shot up the roof with what appeared to be a 22 cal. Replacing the entire roof was not feasible but we needed the barn for hay. My wife, who is not afraid of heights, cut out a bunch of large band-aid-sized pieces of this product, got equipped, went-up the 40' and started putting them on the bullet holes. Neighbours thought we were nut and that the product would be gone after the first snow storm. After a record snow fall this winter, and record wind / rain this spring, they held up perfectly. This despite ice and snow sliding off the roof. Very, very, very impressive product!

I used this to cut down on panel vibration in my Genesis sedan. So far I've only used it on the bottom of my trunk and in the trunk lid combined with a layer of foam for sound absorption and a layer or mass loaded vinyl on top under the trunk felt liner. It cut down a lot on audible vibration from the rear of the car (caused by the subwoofer) and lowered exhaust sound when revving the engine. I used to hear the exhaust louder than the engine from the driver's seat, now I can only hear the engine (at high revs) from inside the car. It's definitely a cheap alternative to things like Dynamat for a fraction of the price, it sticks well and it's great for absorbing/minimizing panel vibration. (There are other thicker materials which may work better though, but you can also double up this one as it's fairly thin) It does help block "some" sound but you really should use acoustic foam and MLV or similar dense materials for best sound blocking results. This should mainly be used to cover part of the vibrating tile in order to add mass and absorb vibration...oh and I'm sure it's good for roofing too. :) I added some progress photos but I didn't do my entire car yet.
