Being February, I can't give real world use info. Based on experience, this looks to be much like the typical basic trimmer line you'll get at a big box store.Fine for a homeowner but probably not gonna cut it (no pun intended) for professional use.Trimmer line gets brittle and breaks more easily as it gets old and the trick about soaking it in water (see the listing info) before loading up your reel is absolutely true.

You get a lot of trimmer line for the price and the quality looks very good. While there is no grass to cut in February, I will update my review in the spring should I encounter any problems with this product.

For the price, you get a lot of string in this huge roll. And the string looks pretty good, albeit a little stiff. You can really feel the points on the edges and I'm sure it will cut through grass like butter, but I can't test it at the moment due to the 2 feet of snow on the ground. My only concern is how stiff the line is. I have a feeling it may break a little easier than I'd like. I have higher end line that is a little more "rope-like" and it doesn't break very often.Other than that, I think this line looks and feels pretty good.

I was looking for a replacement string for my trimmer since I was running low before the season ended. I got this string trimmer string to have plenty on hand for yard maintenance. It fit my trimmer without issues and seems tough enough for heavy use.Pros:- Strong and durable against hard surfaces- Fits well in the spool and feeds smoothly- Good amount of string for the priceCons:- None I can think of

This string comes in a compact roll and is quite brittle. I would suggest putting it into a Ziplock bag with a wet towel for a while to get the moisture level up for using it, or it will break often. It is better than a plain round string, but for my Milwaukee 18V cordless, I tend to get a higher end string so that it lasts as I do a lot of trimming in the summertime. This would work well for lower powered trimmers of 12 volts and for touch up jobs around trees and edges of lawns.

I loaded up my weed trimmer with this cord and it fit just fine. Worked well. It's Feb, so no grass to test the cord on but I just used it against some cardboard boxes and a cement wall and the cord is pretty strong. Held up well. When summer comes, if there are issues with this cord, I'll update but I don't anticipate any problems.A good value item for how much you get.
